Chris Juneau PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS
Chris Juneau is a residency trained, Doctor of Physical Therapy with a background in sports medicine and athletic performance, a fellowship in strength and conditioning, and a masters of philosophy in biomechanics. He completed his graduate and post-graduate degrees at the University of St. Augustine, The Ohio State University, the University of Louisville, and Auckland University of Technology, while also continuing to be a contributing member in the APTA and sports academy as well as a variety of residency, fellowship, and entry level education roles.
Currently, Chris serves as a Physical Therapist and performance coach for the US Military, specifically in positions of program development, human performance, cognitive integration, and long-term health and wellness directorates. He also fulfills various extra-curricular education roles, including the membership chair for the AASPT's Sports Performance Enhancement Special Interest Group, editorial board membership for the Journal, Sports Health, co-host to PT Inquest podcast, continuing education course co-founder, various domestic and international speakership and lecture appointments, as well as philanthropic educational, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
In support of his clinical work, Chris is enthusiastic about coaching and has been involved in coaching Olympic weightlifting for many years. He also remains active in local rugby teams, both as a player and as a provider of care for athletes. His expertise in sports medicine and athletic performance has led him to consult for a wide range of teams and athletes, including those in CrossFit, tactical training, and long-term health planning. Chris is a published writer with educational content in various journals, books, and online learning materials. His dedication to continuing education and his commitment to excellence in his work have earned him a reputation as a dedicated professional in the field of sports medicine and physical therapy.
