Thank you
An understanding of shoulder and elbow biomechanics, pathomechanics, and rehabilitation can enhance throwing performance and minimize shoulder (eg, rotator cuff pathology) and elbow (eg, UCL injuries) injuries. The purpose of this presentation is to provide current scientific evidence on shoulder and elbow biomechanics (upper extremity positions and movement speeds, shoulder force s and torques, and shoulder muscle activity from EMG), common shoulder and elbow pathologies, special tests and examination of the throwing athlete's shoulder and elbow, and the different phases of shoulder and elbow rehabilitation in the overhand throwing athlete.
