Nonoperative treatment remains a valid option in most acromioclavicular joint injuries with the potential of minimizing pain and restoring scapular and shoulder function. However, few studies have provided nonoperative treatment details leaving the literature comparing operative to nonoperative measures with limited clinical interpretations. This session aims to provide a transparent review and interpretation of the literature and provide nonoperative treatment recommendations based on the existing information.
