Brock A. Benedict was born and raised in Franklin, PA. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Gannon University in Erie PA and attended Medical School at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Upon graduation of medical school he was commissioned in the U.S. Army and attended Family Medicine Residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA. He has spent 19 years on active duty having served with 5th Battalion 101stCombat Aviation Brigade (Fort Campbell KY), 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Fort Campbell KY), US Army Special Operations Aviation Command Headquarters (Fort Bragg, NC), and currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer in US Army Special Operations Command (Fort Bragg NC). Starting July 2023 he will begin a 1 year Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill NC.
