    Danny Larson completed his B.S. in Athletic Training at South Dakota State University in 2015 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Des Moines University in 2018. Following this, he completed Sports Residency training at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin and achieved board certification as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He currently works as a physical therapist in Lawrence, KS at OrthoKansas/Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He has a particular interest in treating athletes involved in field and court sports. In addition to providing patient care, he leads research efforts for the physical therapy department at LMH with emphasis on return-to-sport testing and decision making. He serves as LMH’s Sports Residency Coordinator and is a mentor in the program. He teaches as an adjunct faculty involved with musculoskeletal courses for Tufts University hybrid DPT program. He currently serves on the Kansas Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors as the Programming Chair. Danny was recently recognized as a 2022 Emerging Leader through the APTA.
