Maggie has a wealth of knowledge in the sports performance domain and is currently working with the LA Clippers.

  • Maggie Bryant, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, FAFS

    Maggie Bryant is a residency trained Sports Physical Therapist, who is currently heading into her 4th year as Director of Rehabilitation for LA Clippers. Maggie studied Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota (DPT) and then completed her Sports residency training at the University of Southern California. Prior to her current role, Maggie worked with Orlando Magic and Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine. Maggie has professional interests of optimizing the higher level phases in the rehabilitation process including but not limited to; measuring and managing the chaos associated with return to play, managing in-season injuries, and optimizing the acute/chronic loading conundrum. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends.

  • Chris Juneau, PT, DPT, MS, SCS

    Chris Juneau is a Sports Residency, Fellowship, and Performance Trained Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Specialization in Athletic Performance, a Masters of Philosophy in Biomechanics (in progress), and a Certification in Strength & Conditioning currently with the US Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

    Chris has spent 11 years of practice in Ohio, Kentucky, Texas, New Zealand, Colorado, and North Carolina working in a variety of sports medicine, collegiate, and professional avenues.He has recently moved from Colorado Springs (working with the US Air Force Special warfare), having lived in Auckland, New Zealand through 2019pursuinga Masters of Philosophy (Rehabilitation Science focus), working with professional rugby teams, and holding an adjunct lectureship position with the Auckland of Technology Physiotherapy Program.He now serves the US Army Special Operations Command directive as a Physical Therapist and performance coach along with other educational roles, including the membership chair for the AASPT’s Sports Performance Enhancement SIG.

    Chris completed his graduate and post graduate sports training and education with The University of St. Augustine, The Ohio State University, the University of Louisville, and Auckland University of Technology.He is originally from Louisiana in the United States, and has grown up around sports and athletics his entire life, playing baseball in college for Louisiana Tech University. He remains involved as a coach in Olympic weightlifting,provider and player for local rugby, and continues to consult for a myriad of teams and athletes, including CrossFit.

  • Performance Enhancement SIG

    SPE SIG deepens the knowledge and practical application of members who have an interest in performance enhancement of the recovering athlete. The SIG will act as a facilitator for its members who have a common interest in rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and performance enhancement. The SIG will also facilitate collaboration between researchers, clinicians, and the strength and conditioning communities to perform research using commonly applied principles in strength and conditioning of athletes to athletic rehabilitation.
